Chastity: Do I treat people as subjects or objects?

 

Developing a chastity formed by love

 

Obedience: responsible use of our social freedom

 

One’s will is not to be identified as God’s will

The search for God’s will is a cooperative venture

 

Obedience is a call to dialogue and participation

 

 

 

Conscience: Doing the truth

 

Three Dimensions – capacity, process, judgement

 

Capacity – aka antecedent conscience

Process – actual conscience

Judgment – command conscience ( the truth that is to be done)

 

 

Conscience Formation

Review moral development and its influence on the development of conscience

 

Moral insights, moral passions, moral skills
